A Slow Day on the Bay of Kotor
The Bay of Kotor deserves a day without a timetable. We drive around the water, stop in Perast and Kotor, and pull over wherever the view is good.
Spend more time in town or more on the road, as you prefer. The day runs nine to ten hours.

Perast
Kotor
The plan
Perast
A small baroque town on the shore. Boats go out to the island church of Our Lady of the Rocks.
Kotor
The walled old town under the mountain, with time for lunch and the narrow streets.
Viewpoints around the bay
On the way back we stop where the bay opens up below the road.
Good to know
Passport or ID card for everyone. In July and August we start early to beat the worst of the border queue.
