Dubrovnik – Split with a beach stop
Somewhere past halfway to Split the coast turns into a long line of pebble beaches with the Biokovo mountain right behind. In summer it is hard to drive past.
Pick Makarska for a promenade, cafés and plenty of restaurants, or Brela for pine trees and a quieter beach.
